Enlisting and Providing Support
Questions you have with which your colleagues may be able to provide help and support
How do you know that you have covered all the information for you plan? When do you know when to stop? There is so much information out there that I kind of find myself covering to much or not sticking to the subject.
Resources and information you are seeking
I am seeking parents views on early intervention. How can we keep them invoved in their childs education. Is early intervention effective. As educators what can we do to change it.
Resources and/or information you have found helpful and insightful
I have found the internet to be the most helpful. As you know you can google a word and it will come up with a lot of information. I also found talking to other educators to be helpful.

I feel that you can't cover "everything" in one presentation , but you can cover the main points of your message. Pick a few to highlight otherwise you may overwhelm the audience if you give them too much information at one time.
ReplyDeleteHi Leeann,
DeleteI think if you just focus on the main points of your advocacy plan, that should be enough to get your message out. I feel that a speech and or presentation should not be rushed, but you do not want to lose the audiences attention by giving them too much infornation all at once.
Leeann-
ReplyDeleteI do think you can cover the main points. Just be patient and talk from your heart because you are talking about a topic that you are passionate about.
